A cool new feature the Wii U pad let you do in Smash builder was use the stylus to make any shape you wanted and that shape would be a platform in the stage the problem was you could barely utilize this feature due to the fact Smash 4s stage builder had a small amount of space and you could barely put anything into your stage without losing all your space and certain things like lava especially took up a bunch of space so finally Smash Ultimate gets announced and Stage Builder is just not in the Game which was a missed opportunity to finally improve the mode and add backgrounds, platforms and props actually themed after every franchise that has a playable fighter in smash and add the option to have stages that use other stage hazards from other stages like Nabbit from Mushroom Kingdom U and putting him in your stage as a hazard or finally having the ability to make side scrolling stages. But sadly just like smash 4 as a whole the Stage builder was disappointing and failed to make obvious improvements to the mode and ended up being worse than Brawls.
